Craving bold visuals that break the mould? We collaborated with Brisbane’s unconventional fashion house, Me Again Designs, to create a photoshoot that embodies their rebellious spirit. Our goal? Captivating photos that showcase their unique designs and edgy aesthetic.

Project Description

Our collaboration with Me Again Designs was a creative journey filled with exciting challenges and artistic breakthroughs. The shoot was set in the vibrant heart of Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, chosen for its edgy urban backdrop that perfectly matched the brand’s bold aesthetic. The overall theme of the shoot? Rebellion meets sophistication, with a playful and collaborative energy that allowed the models to bring the designs to life.

Challenges and Solutions:

  • Capturing Unconventional Style: Translating Me Again Designs’ avant-garde fashion into images that are both striking and refined required careful planning. We experimented with lighting techniques to emphasize textures and contrasts in the garments, ensuring every detail stood out.
  • Dynamic Posing: Encouraging the models to embody the rebellious spirit of the designs was crucial. We created a relaxed, energetic atmosphere to inspire confident and bold poses, resulting in authentic and impactful imagery.

Creative Decisions:

  • We used angular compositions to amplify the edgy vibe of the shoot.
  • The colour grading was tailored to highlight the vibrancy of the designs while maintaining an urban, gritty feel.
  • Props and styling choices were kept minimal to let the clothing take centre stage.

Personal Reflections

This project was a thrilling experience from start to finish. Working with Me Again Designs was inspiring; their commitment to breaking stereotypes aligned perfectly with my creative approach. I particularly enjoyed the energy of Fortitude Valley and how it added a unique dimension to the shoot. The most rewarding aspect was seeing the models fully immerse themselves in the brand’s rebellious ethos, creating visuals that truly stand out.
