Hong Kong Lane Chermside

Hong Kong Lane is an asian fusion restaurant in Chermside Shopping Centre Laneway eatery. Nestled in beside Betty’s Burgers it open and ready to serve you your favourite Hong Kongese food.

Hong Kong Lane is at Chermside Shopping Centre’s The Laneway.

Bustling busy and quick and tasty, we stopped here after watching the movies at Chermside. It was a Sunday night and while the restaurant was quite busy, our food came out surprisingly quickly.

A big hello to the chefs that work in the kitchen at Hong Kong Lane in Chermside shopping centre.

Entree at Hong Kong Lane

We ordered the Fried Dim Sim (4 pieces) and the Diced Duck meat San Choy Bao for entrees.

The fried dim sim came first. The plate was hot and the dim sims were hand-made at the restaurant. Very nice start!

The San Choy Bao was one of the best I have ever tried (and I have been to Hong Kong). The spicey sauce and fresh ingredients were delightful and so very……yum!

Mains

For mains, we ordered the Sizzling sir-fried beef. OMG what a lovely dish. Sizzling hot and the sauce was so very nice.

Our other main dish was the Hong Kong Style Singapore Noodles with curry powdered vermicelli with BBQ Pork and prawns.

The front table. You’re invited to check out the menu before entering Hong Kong Lane Restaurant.

Big luscious prawns and pieces of barbequed pork were the stars of this dish.

Summary

All up our Sunday night dinner was about $80 for two people including my Sapora beer.

I’d rate this place highly enough that even with the large variety of Chinese and Hong Kong options in the local area, I would come back and try Hong Kong Lane again. 8 out of 10.
