Mount Gravatt Lookout (also known as Mount Gravatt Outlook) is a comfortable 10-kilometer drive from Brisbane’s CBD. From its prominent position, you can see Brisbane City and as far as the Moreton Bay Islands, D’Aguilar Ranges, and the Glasshouse Mountains.
Once You’re There
There’s plenty of parking so pull up, get out and have a look around at the top of the mountain.
Apart from the spectacular views available, you can also:
- Grab a coffee at the Lovewell Project Cafe
- Toilets and disabled amenities
- Take some photos of Brisbane City
- Go for a hike.
- Take photos of the wildlife and flora
- Have a picnic



Getting to Mount Gravatt Lookout
Getting to the Mount Gravatt Lookout is easiest by car. For the fit and fit-to-be, trek up the mountain starting from the Griffith University Campus or Toohey Mountain Reserve carpark.
Telecommunications Towers
With its height advantage, Mount Gravatt is an obvious choice for some heavy-weight telecommunications towers.
You can’t get close enough to get fried s that’s good, but these towers are beautiful structures in their own right.
