Rocks Riverside Park is more than just another Brisbane City Council parkland.
It is a parkland extravaganza!
Set beside the lazily flowing Brisbane River, Rocks Riverside Park hosts two very large grassy fields, a kid’s playground, BBQ huts, picnic spots, bushwalks, concrete paths and carparks as far as the eye can see.
On weekends and weekdays alike, this park is a busy spot. Groups assemble in their preferred picnic spots early and settle in for the day.
if you are a visitor to Brisbane then bring your gang, your esky, your sun hat and sunscreen and a few camping chairs and you can enjoy a day or half-day watching the kids play, taking photographs, exploring and looking over the Brisbane River.
