If you’re visiting Brisbane in the Christmas months, make sure to check out the Enchanted Garden at Brisbane’s Roma Street Parklands.
Roma Street Parkland is already a beautiful, wondrous place to visit – but it comes spectacularly alive for the week when it hosts the Enchanted Gardens in December each year.
It’s only a ten-minute walk from Brisbane’s CBD – but in those few minutes, you are whisked away into a night-time wonderland of fairy lights, foggy haze, nighttime creatures and fancy lighting displays that will truly leave you breathless.
The pathway through this wonderland is easily trafficable by prams, strollers and wheelchairs.
I thought this display might have been mainly for children – but the fun the adults have at The Enchanted Garden as they discover mystical creatures hidden in the light displays is wondrous.
At other times of the year, the Roma Street parklands are alive with fun and frivolity. You can check out what is on using the Roma Street Parkland site.
