Modelling Packages Brisbane

Model portfolio shoots, test shoots and agency-ready images for new, teen and professional models who need confidence, direction and photos that actually move them forward.

If you are looking for modelling packages, you are probably not just chasing a few nice photos. You want images that help you apply to agencies, build confidence, refresh your portfolio or finally look like you belong in front of a camera.

That does not happen by accident. A useful modelling shoot needs structure: clear planning, honest direction, outfit guidance, posing help and images that are created for a reason.

I’m Matthew Cornell, a Brisbane-based model portfolio and fashion photographer. I work with aspiring models, teen models, working models and creatives who need images that look professional without feeling fake or overdone.

Start with the right shoot, not just the cheapest shoot. The wrong images do not become useful because they were affordable. They just become affordable clutter.

Choose Your Modelling Package

Each package is built for a different stage. Choose based on what you need the images to do, not just how nervous or confident you feel right now.

If you’ve already done a test shoot and it wasn’t enough, the Portfolio Starter Session is usually the next step — before Agency Ready, not instead of it.

Starter Model Test Shoot

$450

Best for: beginners, first shoots, confidence-building and simple starter images.

This is for new models who want to test the waters, get comfortable being directed and walk away with a clean, useful first set of images.

  • 1 hour shoot
  • 1–2 outfit changes
  • guided posing and expression direction
  • studio or simple location option
  • 5 professionally edited images
  • basic advice on how to use the images

Portfolio Starter Session

$650

Best for: models who’ve outgrown a test shoot but aren’t ready for a full agency-ready portfolio.

This is the step between a first test shoot and a serious agency application — enough range to actually use the images, without paying for variety you don’t need yet.

Includes:

  • 90-minute shoot
  • 2 outfit changes
  • pre-shoot planning and outfit guidance
  • full posing, movement and expression direction
  • 7 professionally edited images

Good fit if you need:

  • more than one look, but not a full agency set
  • a practical middle option between test shoot and Agency Ready
  • images you can actually use, not just a first-timer’s sample

Prices are for the listed modelling packages. Custom shoots, additional locations, extra images, hair and makeup, commercial usage, travel outside the agreed area or added production may change the final quote.

What Every Modelling Shoot Includes

  • Clear direction: posing, hands, posture, expression, movement and angles are guided throughout.
  • Pre-shoot planning: we talk through your goals, outfits, experience level and what the images need to achieve.
  • Professional editing: clean, natural retouching that still looks like you.
  • Studio or location options: depending on the package and the result you need.
  • Private gallery: review your images and choose your finals depending on the package.
  • Honest feedback: practical direction during the shoot instead of vague praise that helps nobody.

Digitals, Portfolio Images or Both?

New models often confuse digitals and portfolio photos. They are not the same thing, and pretending they are is how people end up with portfolios that look busy but say nothing.

Digitals

Simple, clean images that show your current look clearly. Minimal makeup, simple clothing, clean light and no heavy styling.

Portfolio Images

More polished images that show range, personality, movement, commercial potential or fashion direction.

The Smart Mix

Most serious new models need both: clear images that show what you look like, and stronger images that show what you can do.

Optional Add-Ons

Not every shoot needs extras. When they make sense, they can be added properly instead of being awkwardly bolted on at the last minute.

  • additional edited images
  • hair and makeup artist
  • extra shoot time
  • additional locations or studio upgrades
  • short-form video or behind-the-scenes content
  • portfolio review or image selection support
  • comp card or portfolio layout support

You will not be pushed into add-ons you do not need. But if the shoot requires more production, we plan it properly instead of pretending everything fits inside a starter package. That is how disappointment is manufactured.

For Teen Models and Parents

Teen modelling shoots need clear communication, safety and parent involvement. No mystery. No pressure. No “just trust me” nonsense.

  • a parent or guardian must be involved for under-18 models
  • parents are welcome to attend the shoot
  • outfit comfort and boundaries are discussed clearly
  • posing direction is appropriate, professional and explained
  • image use is discussed before anything is shared publicly
  • the model can say no to any outfit, pose, concept or image use

Not Sure Which Package to Choose?

Just Starting?

Start with the Starter Model Test Shoot. It gives you experience, direction and a useful first set of images.

Done a Test Shoot Already?

Choose the Portfolio Starter Session. You’ve got the confidence part sorted — now you need more than one look to actually show anyone.

Applying to Agencies?

Choose the Agency Ready Portfolio Shoot. You need clean images plus enough range to show potential.

Already Modelling?

Choose the Full Portfolio Shoot. You need stronger variety, not another basic starter shoot.

If you are unsure, send a message with your goal and current experience level. I will point you toward the package that makes sense.

For Fashion Brands and Campaigns

If you are running a fashion brand, swimwear label, ecommerce store or campaign, you probably do not need a modelling package. You need a brand shoot planned around usage, licensing, product priorities, image count, model selection and content delivery.

FAQs About Modelling Packages

Which modelling package should I choose?

If you are completely new, start with the Starter Model Test Shoot. If you have already done a test shoot and need more than one usable look, choose the Portfolio Starter Session. If you are applying seriously to agencies or need clean digitals as well as greater portfolio range, choose the Agency Ready Portfolio Shoot. If you already have experience and need a fuller image set, choose the Full Portfolio Shoot.

Do I need experience before booking a modelling shoot?

No. You will be guided through posing, expression, movement and direction throughout the shoot. The Starter Model Test Shoot, Portfolio Starter Session and Agency Ready Portfolio Shoot are all designed for people who may not have much experience yet.

Do I need professional photos before applying to an agency?

Not always. Some agencies ask for simple digitals first. But if your current images are unclear, old, heavily filtered or poorly lit, a professional shoot can help you present yourself more clearly.

Can parents attend teen modelling shoots?

Yes. Parent or guardian involvement is required for under-18 models, and parents are welcome to attend the shoot.

Are the package prices fixed?

The listed prices cover the standard package inclusions. Custom shoots, extra images, additional locations, hair and makeup, extended shoot time, travel outside the agreed area or added production may change the final quote.
